Family Ministries – Faith, Fellowship & Fun

TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS BACK TO THE CHILDREN… so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17

Little Ones to him belong…

While one of our church values is to make sure each age group is included in church life, we also offer childcare during the main worship service. This is intended for little ones ages 0-6. You will find a rotation of loving, dedicated volunteers in our nursery. To keep both our volunteers and other families using childcare safe, we ask that outside snacks not be brought into the childcare space (for allergy concerns) and also that sick children wait until they are well to join the group. Thank you for your understanding.

Let the Little Children Come…

School aged children can attend 9am Sunday School and then participate in the 10:30am adult service. We put together activity bins that include a craft and a specially designed kids’ bulletin with puzzles that go along with that morning’s sermon to encourage children to follow along and participate in the service. If students finish at least 1 of the 4 activities they can get a prize from the treasure box.

Let no one look down
on your youth…

We offer Sunday School for students through Middle School at 9am.
High Schoolers are encouraged to try different aspects of serving during the Sunday School hour.

Teens & their families gather every other Friday for Bible study, dinner, games and fellowship.

We love to host family ministry events! Sometimes these events help families connect to each other and God. Sometimes they offer families an opportunity to serve the Lord together. But all of them are intended to “turn the hearts of the children to the Fathers so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Once a year we lead the kids and families through a selected Jewish holiday to pass along the traditions and foundations of our faith. We go on camping trips, offer marriage nights, host an annual Summer Finale Splash Bash (where we find out which grown-ups are actually kids at heart) and organize kids’ holiday activities.
