Childcare
We offer nursery/child care for little ones during the service. You will find a rotation of dedicated, loving volunteers in our childcare room. If you have special needs, please let us know – we are happy to work with you to provide a great experience for your family!
Kids in service
For kids 6 and up we provide an activity bucket with a craft and kids’ bulletin with puzzles based on that morning’s sermon to help them feel involved and learn to engage in the service. There’s a treasure box with prizes for kids who complete at least 1 of the 4 activities in their kids’ bulletin.
Food & Fellowship
Join us after service for a light lunch/snacks and a great time getting to know everyone!
Kids can enjoy the community center playground during this time!
Communion
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
We do not take a traditional offering during our worship services. Instead, our regular attenders are encouraged to place their tithes and offerings in a Giving Basket that’s placed in the back on the Welcome Table sometime during the morning. In this way, our giving is private and there are no awkward times of “passing the plates” during our worship meetings.

Giving
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:26
Two sacred activities (called ordinances) were given to the New Testament church: baptism and communion. We share in Communion as part of our worship to the Lord multiple times a month.
All are welcome to partake in Communion with the understanding that it is a somber remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection to cover our sins (spiritual mistakes) and shared as renewal of our commitment to live for Him because He gave His life for us.
Frequently Asked Questions
You might be familiar with the Alpine Community Center (recently renamed the Alpine Club). The center shares the parking lot with the community library, urgent care, Goodwill and even sometimes sporting events at the ball field in the back. There’s parking in front of the center, the library, and around the back by the playground and ball field. We use the main community center hall, so find your way to the front of the building and someone will direct you from there!
The congregation is casual. While most are in jeans and t-shirts, there’s also many who enjoy dresses, slacks, and dress shirts – so be comfortable! If you have kids, there is a playground and a large grassy area – in case that impacts clothing choices.
Yes! For childcare during the Worship Service, we have a short in-take form. We include our kids during the worship portion of the service and dismiss at the greeting break (unless otherwise arranged for children to be in childcare during worship – which is available). To keep both our volunteers and other families using childcare safe, we ask that outside snacks not be brought into the childcare space (for allergy concerns) and also that sick children wait until they are well to join the group. Thank you for your understanding.
