Leadership Team @ Mountain View
At Mountain View, we have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who lead the congregation with prayerful and servant hearts.
Pastor Eric Motl, along with his wife, April, helped found Mountain View Bible Church in 2008. Their commitment to God’s people and servant-leadership style has been a tone-setting force throughout these twenty years of Mountain View’s existence. They have done their best to always lead the people of God into a humble atmosphere of faith, hope and love by the grace of Jesus.
Eric and April are graduates from Southern California Seminary and are well versed both in the Scriptures and sound doctrine. April has a heart to serve alongside her husband in full-time ministry and received her Graduate Seminary Degree in order to better serve Eric is his pastoral duties. Eric usually preaches verse by verse through the Bible and often brings his love of Biblical Hebrew into his messages and leadership.
Rich Anderson is an excellent servant-leader who seeks to set a Christ-centered tone in everything he does and is always there to serve God and His people in our congregation.
Rich loves God’s Word and sound doctrine. He has a particular interest in apologetics and is constantly looking for ways to answer the “hard” questions that many people have about faith, God and the Scriptures.
Jeff Brown loves God’s Word and His people. Jeff has a wealth of knowledge and experience pertaining to the Scriptures, sound doctrine, and church history. He is consistently looking for ways to serve the people of Mountain View, especially those who are in special need of care.
Jeff teaches our Adult Sunday classes every Sunday morning and is dedicated to bringing the Living Word of God into everyday life for the people of Mountain View. He is passionate about Bible Study and is skilled at incorporating doctrine, history, and the love of God into every study his teaches. He is truly a man of faith, hope and love.
We honor Gary & Pat Craft as retired ministers who have given their life in the service of Jesus Christ. While they are retired, they have a special place of honor here at Mountain View and continue to serve and offer counsel. We are grateful MVBC has become a place they could love, serve and also rest after many years of ministry.
Pastor Jon Lutz, along with his wife Barb, are also co-founders of Mountain View Bible Church and have played an irreplaceable role in the life and history of MVBC. Without this beautiful couple Mountain View would not be the same.
Jon was the Administrative Pastor and committed ministry partner of Pastor Eric for the better part of fifteen years. Sadly, Jon went on to be with the Lord in 2021 having served his generation in the love and faith of Jesus. The people of Mountain View will never forget this man of God who surely heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” when he opened his eyes to see the face of His Lord and Savior upon his departure from this life into the next.
We are grateful to have his wife, Barb, still with us as a dedicated member of Mountain View Bible Church!
