Who We Are
Growing Closer to Jesus Together
Jesus calls His followers to continually grow in faith and become more like Him. At Mountain View Bible Church, we are committed to helping people know God’s Word, build Christ-centered relationships, serve others, and share the hope of the gospel. The early church provides a model for this growth, and its example continues to shape our ministry today.
Acts 2:42
New Testament Church Values
The Word

We are devoted to God’s Word as the foundation for truth, spiritual growth, and daily living. Through preaching, teaching, personal study, and discipleship, we seek to know Christ and follow Him faithfully.
One Another

Christianity was never meant to be lived alone. We are committed to encouraging, serving, supporting, and growing alongside one another as a church family.
Breaking Bread

Sharing meals and gathering around the Lord’s Table remind us of our unity in Christ. Fellowship and communion help strengthen relationships and keep the gospel at the center of our lives.
Prayer

Prayer is one of the primary ways we depend on God. As individuals and as a church, we seek His guidance, wisdom, strength, and provision through a life of prayer.

Living Out the Gospel
As you continue reading Acts, you see that the devotion of the early church naturally overflowed into worship, fellowship, and a powerful witness in their community. As a result, “the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved” (Acts 2:47). This is our heart and prayer for our church too!
A real life following of Jesus makes Jesus’ life real to those around us.
We believe one of the most effective ways to share the good news of Jesus is through a faithful Christian testimony. When believers genuinely follow Christ, love others, serve faithfully, honor God in their homes, and reflect Christ in their workplaces and communities, people see the reality of the gospel lived out.
In Scripture, discipleship and evangelism are closely connected. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we become better equipped to point others to Him. We call this E2 Ministry, a commitment to both building up believers (edification) and reaching others (evangelism) with the hope of the gospel. Together, these priorities help shape the life and mission of our church.
